Built for Bowlers.

Kia ora, I'm Craig (also known as CD or Trev Junior) and I started bowling in 2025. Like many of you I instantly fell in love with the game of bowls and in doing so quickly recognised the need for a reliable, easy-to-use way to keep match scores and record stats that could help me improve my game.

JackTracker is a lawn bowls match tracking and statistics platform I built for bowlers of all levels, from casual roll-up players to competitive club champions. It lets you record match results, view detailed performance stats, track your progress over time, and share results with teammates, opponents and friends. Whether you play singles, pairs, triples or fours, JackTracker keeps your entire bowls history in one place so you can reflect on your game and find ways to improve.

AI has enabled me to design and build the JackTracker app for individual players who just want a personal record of their matches, as well as for clubs looking to run their Club Champs or tournaments, manage memberships, and more recently to support coaching with built-in coaching tools (these features are not currently for public use).

My goal with JackTracker is not simply to track match statistics but to ultimately support and help grow the bowls community globally by providing a vehicle for players to interact with the game as well as their teammates, opponents and clubs off the green as well as on it.

I'm absolutely stoked that my home club Bowls Papanui in Christchurch are supporting me in this quest by being the first club to adopt the app to assist with their development squad coaching programme. They'll be using and testing a range of exclusive coaching features in the 2026/27 season which I've co-developed with Certified Bowling Coach Anthony Inwood.

I'd also like to thank The Colonel Trev (Brett Saunders) for his help getting JackTracker to where it is with his quick adoption and constant feedback and Big Trev (Matt Potts) for taking the initiative to get us signed up for Twilight Bowls. These guys are true legends who I'm looking forward to spending many more years bowling with!
